Visitors and Guests

Here are photos of some of the people who have played along with us.

John was over from New Zealand visiting friends for a couple of months in 2003.

He is as adept on the banjo and guitar as he is on the whistle. In this photo he is accompanied

by Vivienne on the bodhran.

This photo of Lew Black was taken at a party held for him and his wife at

the Bridge End in January 2004. Lew has a belting voice and sang some great

songs. He too comes from New Zealand !

John, this time in August 2005. During this number we had banjo, guitars,

concertina, bass and accordian on the go. It sounded great.

John ... August 2005.

The same evening that John visited us, Tony (a new neighbour) came along. It was a great evening.

Lew .... back again. This time on 19 August 2005. As well as his

banjo, Lew played several numbers on his new mandolin. Crackin' !

Not only that, his daughter and son-in-law accompanied on bones, spoons

and bodhran. It was also Lew's birthday .... a great night.

Peter Wood ... Pete played with us for several years.

His voice, fiddle and concertina all sounded fantastic -

though he never mastered playing the fiddle and concertina at the same time.
